Husband is programming the SatNav for a trip tomorrow, when it asked him a very stupid question.
“There’s a road closed on your route. Would you like to avoid it?”
WTF! Seriously, who is going to say “No, I am gonna ride right through those Road Closed signs, and make that road my bitch!”
Much merriment was had. Some of that was caused because Husband’s SatNav voice is a Dalek. When we have to take a ferry, it is a Floating Transportation Device. Dalek SatNavs rock.

Maybe it was asking about the clsoed road because if you answered wrong, it would exterminate you.
I want a dalek satnav too!!!… I bet that voice wouldn’t make me want to throw the dang thing out the window every three seconds like the standard girl voice ones do.
I had to look up “dalek”.
I like that google maps has some international directions that include things like “swim 3000 miles…”
Did you see the walking directions from ‘the shire’ to ‘mordor’ 🙂
i can’t get whatever it is – mine goes to real locations with “the shire” and “mordor” in the names.
Oh noes. It says ‘Use caution, one does not simply walk into Mordor’ but you have to ask for the WALKING directions for it to do that.
